Sibling Subscription for Shormann Algebra 1 Self-Paced eLearning Course

My two teenagers loved this course and always wanted to get into the next lesson. Great explanations made my job easy, and the assessment process was thorough.

I like the functionality of the program and if my son does all of the steps, including watching solutions explanations for problems he gets wrong, he does well. Dr. Shormann is a good instructor and I like how he weaves Christian comments into his lessons. (Note: The following complaint has been addressed. The new eLearning campus now keeps a running total.) The only thing I don't like is that the grades don't give a running total based on lessons/quizzes completed. Rather it gives the average score out of the whole curriculum so you have to average it all yourself or wait until the very end of the course to know what their grade is.. Seems like that would be an easy thing to fix and be of great value to students and teachers.

My oldest switched from Saxon & DIVE to Shormann online with great success. He found a good rythm in the daily 1.5-2 hours and learn at his own pace. He moved on successfully to Alg 2-PreCalc. My daughter is now working on Alg 1 coming out of Teaching Textbooks PreAlgebra. She struggles a bit more with the pace, but mostly because she was used to quickly working through her work in TT and is shifting to the timed daily work ethic. Her older brother was a huge help with calculator set up on her iPad. And helping her walk through tougher concepts. I never imagined my oldest would grasp concepts so well as to teach them years later. I have two more children who will also come up into this program, and I enjoy the sibling discount!! As a homeschool mom, I find my kids are able to use this program to their own personal pace and a good work ethic is instilled. I am also pleased when my kids report to me Dr Shormann often witnessed the gospel in his lectures, a true bonus for this mom!

We love Dr. Shormann's programs. His videos are wonderful. The math and science cannot be beat. My kids are all becoming proficient and knowledgable in math, even though I have had poor education in math myself. I can't express how much I appreciate Dr. Shormanns math and science videos and how they are taught from a Bible believing viewpoint.

My oldest is a math-loving kid. She has been using Shormann Math (and Science) for several years with good results. My youngest (15 yrs) is a lover of languages but hasn't been fan of anything math-related for several years. Dr. Shormann suggested that math is the language of science in his first Algebra I lecture. She perked up (because she loves languages) and completed the first lesson and loved it! So far she is about 1/2 through the Algebra I program and for the first time ever, she enjoys doing math and feels like she understands it!

I cant thank Dr. Shormann enough for his excellent math and science courses. He is a quality teacher, going at the right pace with the most important information focused on. The courses my daughters used thoroughly prepared them for even higher math. This Christian curriculum comes highly recommended, and I have shared this resource with many friends. Thank you from the depths of my heart.

We began using Shormann Math for my oldest son two years ago, and now are also using it for our next son. I've found the program to be extremely easy to use, and I feel that it's preparing them well for upper level math studies and/or careers.

I have 3 children using the Algebra /Geometry course, and a 4th child will be starting in the fall. I can't imagine trying to teach them all myself (as much as I enjoy algebra). They really like the course, and the grades are stored for me in their accounts. It's great to have such help!
