This Calculus class will use the Shormann Calculus course. It will cover all the material required to prepare for the CLEP Calculus and AP Calculus AB exams. The last two weeks of class will provide specific preparation for the AP Calculus AB exam. While this exam is optional, it is recommend that students attempt either the CLEP or AP exam. Not only can students earn up to 4 hours of college-level calculus, these exams validate high school transcripts, often boosting college scholarship and admissions applications.

Credits: 1 Calculus 1 Credit
Prerequisite: Completed Saxon Advanced Math, Shormann Precalculus, or any other Precalculus course.

- On or Before MAY 1: Classes can be refunded or exchanged with a 5% processing fee. To request a refund or exchange, please use the Refund Request Form.
- May 2 to August 1: No refunds or exchanges. EXCEPTION: If a student takes your spot before August 1, the class can be refunded or exchanged. Refund Request Form
- August 1 or Later: No refunds or exchanges. New students cannot be added. If you drop the class on August 1 or later, tuition cannot be refunded or exchanged.
- Purchase of Shormann Self-Paced eLearning Calculus is required for this class.
- I have read the 2024-2025 Syllabus for LIVE Calculus.
- I have read the Placement information.
- Full payment of tuition is required to register. If you would like to pay in 6 interest-free payments, select Paypal Credit during checkout.
- I understand that I am responsible for supervising my student to ensure all assigned work is completed as instructed and is properly prepared for class each week.
- If my child repeatedly uses the improper format for homework, misses multiple classes, repeatedly fails quizzes, repeatedly fails to turn in homework, and/or continues to cheat, even after being corrected, he may be dropped from the class, without refund.
- In order for my child to submit handwritten homework, he/she will need to scan and upload his/her homework. I agree to ensure my child has an app (TurboScan or similar) and a phone or scanner to do this. See the syllabus for complete instructions on how to scan and upload homework and notes.
