DIVE Stream & Download: Video Lectures for Saxon 5/4, Third Edition

I love the videos! The only thing I think that is lacking, is for the speaker in the video to actually have the kiddos have more chances to work on solving more example problems themselves. It would be great if they could tell them to pause the video and give them a few more problems to work on as examples in whatever lesson he’s teaching on.

I love the video lectures. I wish I had done them sooner. Sometimes our kids just need someone else to explain a math concept to them and they seem to pick it up faster. I love that the video lectures are fostering a sense of independence with their learning as well. I'd recommend the DIVE lectures for Saxon math to any homeschoolers who use Saxon.

We are so pleased with the DIVE Math videos to accompany our Saxon Math! My kids enjoy the videos far more than having mom read the lessons to them. The videos are very good at extracting the main points of the lesson and presenting the material. A must buy for non-math-geared parents!

My 9 year old and I are loving DIVE math! The video lessons make homeschooling easier for me, the teacher, and more fun for the student. Recommend to anyone considering!

This has been such a blessing for our family. No more fighting over math. My 10 year old loves the "independence" he feels he has. We love that this was at an affordable price and something we could go at our own speed. Also, we love the download because he can pull it up through our email on laptop, iPad, and phone's, making this SUPER convenient. I am not the most tech savvy of mom's, so for me to say this is easy, it IS! OH, and I absolutely LOOOOOVE that you make Bible references throughout your lectures. I'm not sure who the guy is that is teaching this on here, but you do a wonderful job! Thank you so much for making such an amazing, affordable option to help us homeschoolers out!

I used Saxon Math 1, 2, and 3 with my homeschooling daughter. When she started Saxon 5/4 we hit a wall. Suddenly math became much more difficult and I didn't know how to teach her! I was praying about where to go next with math when I stumbled across these videos. I'm so thankful I did. Dr. Shormann does a great job of teaching each lesson in a quick and easy to understand way. I very much appreciate his exhortations to "not be grumpy when doing your school work." I will for sure be purchasing every level as my daughter progresses. Thank you for taking the time to make these wonderful videos. They have helped so much!!!

Saxon provided a great math foundation for my boys (8 and 10) in the very early years at a private school. However, when we decided to homeschool, there was no way I could teach three different grades of math. DIVE was exactly what we needed. My boys LOVE the lessons and are progressing beautifully. They are fully independent at completing their math. This allows me to teach my five year old twins. My family would not be homeschooling if these videos were not available. Thank you for teaching from a Christian view point - that makes DIVE pretty much perfect!

This had given my son just the structure he needs to be a self-learner in math. He does it on his own, which is great. And I really like the reminders that the teacher gives about habits and doing your best with your work and I love that he says to respect your parents and the sort of "kind, firm, loving" feeling of the program. And, obviously, the clear math teaching which has really helped my son gain an understanding. Math is not my son's favorite subject and I don't think his brain would be able to grasp the concepts nearly as well by reading the book as he does with the audio teaching combined with seeing the problems worked out on the screen. Very happy with this product!
