Option 1: Take Shormann Pre-Algebra
We recommend taking our new Shormann Pre-Algebra. This course does the best job of developing fluency in the essential skills required for success in Algebra 1 & 2. Featuring interactive assignments with automated grading and grade recording, help links above each question, video lectures and Q&A support with Dr. Shormann, this course makes learning faster and easier! While there may be some review, most of the information will be new or at least not yet mastered.

Option 2: Finish Pre-Algebra
If the student started a pre-algebra course, but did not finish, have them complete their pre-algebra course, then take the Algebra 1 Placement Test. If the student was failing, take Shormann Pre-Algebra. Start with Lesson 1 and complete all assignments as instructed.
-
Option 3: Re-Take the Last Quarter of Pre-Algebra
Have them re-take the last 25 lessons, tests, etc of their pre-algebra course, then take the Algebra 1 Placement Test. If the student fails the first lesson or test, take Shormann Pre-Algebra. Start with Lesson 1 and complete all assignments as instructed.
