- Shormann Algebra 2 with Integrated Geometry
- or Saxon Algebra 2, 3rd Edition
- or, any other Algebra 2 AND GEOMETRY
*If your student has not taken Geometry, instead of taking a stand-alone geometry course, Dr. Shormann recommends taking Shormann Algebra 2 with Integrated Geometry. 1. How to Take the Placement Test

3. Use the Answer Key at the end of the Placement Test to grade it.

Missed 2 or less: Passed - ready for Shormann Precalculus with Trigonometry
Missed 3:
Good or Strong Math Student: who successfully completed Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry, they are ready for Shormann Precalculus with Trigonometry
Reluctant or Struggling Math Student:
We recommend taking Shormann Algebra 2 with Integrated Geometry Take the Placement Test for Algebra 2 to confirm readiness. This course will build mastery and fluency in both Geometry and Algebra, while providing excellent preparation for Precalculus, the PSAT, SAT, and ACT. It also includes a 3-6 week CLEP College Algebra prep course which earns 1 high school math credit and up to 3 college credits. If you pass the CLEP Practice exam, included in the course, you can list this course on your transcript as Advanced Algebra. Take the Placement Test for Algebra 2
Missed 4 or More: Failed-Not Ready for Shormann Precalculus
