What do I need to purchase?

  • DIVE eLearning Chemistry course
  • Reading Supplement: Weekly online reading assignments are posted in the eLearning course. If you prefer a physical textbook, we have a reading syllabus for several textbooks with specific page numbers to read each week. Please see the Reading Supplement section of the Teacher Guide for DIVE Chemistry.
  •  Lab Manual: A 3 hole punch, color copy of the lab manual for DIVE eLearning Chemistry. It contains the Lab Activity pages for each lab in the course.  This is optional as a printable PDF is included with the course. 
  •  Lab Kit This kit contains most of the supplies required  to complete 23 of the 28 labs. While recommended, it is not required. A lab science credit can be earned by watching the video labs and completing the lab activity pages.

This self-paced eLearning course offers several advantages over the CD version. All homework, flash cards, and quarterly reviews are automatically graded and the grades are stored in an online gradebook. There is no CD to lose or damage, you always have access to the most up to date information, and you can access your course anywhere from any computer, tablet, or iOS device. At the end of this course, a completion certificate is awarded.

Although this is a 32 week course, the eLearning course subscription is for 12 months. This allows plenty of time to complete the course.     This product meets all our needs. Challenging enough to prep our student for CLEP exam. I am a science nerd and I just love DIVE products. I really appreciate the fact Dr Shorman stays true to creation based design. Hats off to all who worked to create such a wonderful product!!

    Dr. Shoremann is very thorough. As the study progresses, previous concepts are reviewed to keep fresh what you've learned and to give you more practice. This also helps by laying a foundation to build upon for the next concept. We found for ourselves, the practice took longer than was suggested, but all in all that is not really a problem unless one is pressed for time, which we are not. My daughter feels that this program is well preparing her for college and I agree.

    I am so greatful for this program. I feel as tough my teens are receiving sound teaching from a trustworthy teacher. The self correcting aspect, video lectures, and video labs make this an easy decision for our highschool curricula.

    This is our last year since our youngest is taking Calculus and Physics. Thank you for these programs and for helping our kids develop a love of math and science. You all have made a huge difference in our success with educating our kids! The older two are in college, chasing their dreams and this would not have been possible without DIVE. Our kids have been (informal) math tutors for their friends for years now. Your methods make so much sense to our kids but also to their friends when they are struggling to understand concepts. Our kids lovingly nicknamed Dr. Shormann Dr. Mathman when they were little. I still hear them refer to Dr. Shormann that way when they are quoting him. You’ve blessed our family! We appreciate you more than you know! Thank you!

    DIVE has been great for my High Schooler

    We are a missionary family and traveling with books and such is difficult not to mention getting books when needed. DIVE has been a great option for my oldest who is in High school and has been with DIVE going on our 3rd year. As a parent and certified teacher I have no complaints. I do wish it would email me a progress report or daily report but that is just a wish!

    Have used this course for 2 of my non-science oriented high schoolers with success. The material is solid and presented well. Both students were able to work independently and I loved having the labs on video. Will be using this product in the future. Absolutely loved the e-format.
