3.  Click on the file that has your Safari icon next to it and ends in .html  (Note: If you are using a science CD you will need to click on the Lectures or Labs folder then select the html file.)

3.  This will open the CD using the Flash plugin in your browser.

4.  Close all the apps and windows, then open Safari and click Safari in the top menu.

5.  Click Preferences, then Security, then make sure there is check mark next to Enable JavaScript, Allow Java, and Allow Plug-ins.

6.  Close Safari then go back and click on the html file again.

Windows

Regardless of the issue you are experiencing, try these instructions first. They fix 99% of all issues:

1.  Update your flash player at http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer  If you are using Firefox, update it first.

2.  Deselect any add-ons to the download and click download.

3.  Click Run.

4.  Click Yes or OK if you receive a security warning.

5.  Follow the prompts to complete the download and installation.  Do not change any default settings.

6.  Restart your computer.

7.  Try the CD again.

If that doesn't work, try opening your CD this way:

1.  Place the CD in the drive.  If the autoplay box pops up, close it down.

2.  Click Start then Computer or My Computer.

3.  Right click on the CD drive which should have the title of the CD next to it.

4.  Click Open or Explore.

5.  A box will come up that says Name, Size, Type, etc across the top.

6.  Under Type, look for one that says HTML and double click on that file. Alternatively, you may see a box with several files with icons next to them.  Double click on the file that has your internet browser icon next to it (like Internet Explorer or Chrome) and/or ends in .HTML

This will force Windows to open the CD in Flash Player in your browser.  If this does not work, your CD may be damaged. See below.
