Mac Setup for eLearning Courses

To avoid grading and display issues, follow all the steps below on the computer your student will use to access their eLearning Course.  

Supported Browser: Chrome

Chrome Setup Instructions

1. If you don’t have Chrome, download it here: How to Install Chrome


2. Install all available updates for your operating system: How to Update macOS

4. Set your Mac to check for software updates automatically: Keep your Mac up to date

5. Follow the steps here: Enable cookies and cache in Chrome

7. Set PDFs to “OPEN” instead of download: How to Change PDF settings in Google Browser

8. If you have setup Parental Controls or Internet Filtering software like "Circle" or "Covenant Eyes", it is critical that you add these eight sites to your Safe Sites list. See: Instructions for Safe Sites List


9. If you use a VPN, Educadium’s security protocol only allows VPNs with a “static” or “dedicated” IP address. Learn More


10. Add these email addresses to “Contacts“ in the email account entered for the student and the email account entered during checkout.
