To avoid grading and display issues, follow all the steps below on the computer your student will use to access their eLearning Course.
Select a Supported Browser: Safari or Chrome
To avoid grading and display issues, use only Safari or Chrome. Because Safari is automatically updated with MacOS, it is generally recommended over Chrome. However, if you have technical issues, switch to Chrome. For details, scroll down to the Chrome section.
SAFARI Setup Instructions:
1. Install all available updates for your operating system: How to Update macOS
2. Set your Mac to check for software updates automatically: Keep your Mac up to date
3. Follow the steps here: Enable cookies and cache on Mac
4. Follow the steps under "Enable Javascript" here: Change Security Settings
5. If you have setup Parental Controls or Internet Filtering software like "Circle" or "Covenant Eyes", it is critical that you add these eight sites to your Safe Sites list. See: Instructions for Safe Sites List
6. If you use a VPN, follow these steps: Setup VPN
7. Add these email addresses to “Contacts“ in the email account entered for the student and the email account entered during checkout.
