1. Important Note about the Example Problems
Please Note: As John Saxon recommended, Dr. Shormann teaches the lesson using different example problems than the lesson in the Saxon text. Then, if extra practice is needed, the example problems in the Saxon book can be used. After Dr. Shormann teaches example problem During the DIVE lecture, the student should take brief notes and solve example problems (not copy) on their paper. Since the lesson in the Saxon text is only a summary,students should not look at the Saxon book during the lecture. For details, see the Teacher Guide linked above.
2. HOW TO PLAY A LECTURE
The DIVE lecture videos are MP4 files that play on all Macs and Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7 and higher.
i. Place the CD/DVD in the computer’s drive. (Not compatible with DVD players for TVs)
ii. Open the “Lesson Lectures” folder.
iii. Select the lesson you want to watch.
iv. The video will open in your default player.
v. Select the play icon. If you have any trouble, see Tech Support below.
vi. Watch the Getting Started lesson linked on the Teacher Guide.
