To avoid technical issues, please follow all the steps below to set up Chromebook for our eLearning platform.
To ensure a stable connection, follow these steps:
- INTERNET SPEED: The normal recommended Download & Upload Internet Speed is 3-5 Mbps per user. To check your speed, see http://speedtest.net. If you use a satellite, see: Satellite Speeds. If your internet speed is less than 3-5 Mbps per user, follow these steps to improve your connection:

- Move as close as possible to the modem.
- Ask your internet provider to check for line quality or noise issues.
- Ask if there is anything you can do to optimize it's performance.
- You may also want to upgrade your Internet Plan.

CHROME Setup Instructions
1. Open the Chrome browser. (If you have deleted Chrome, follow these steps to re-install: How to Install Chrome Browser)
2. At the top right, click More
3. Click Help > About Google Chrome.
4. Click Update Google Chrome.
Important:

If you don't see "Update", but you see "Relaunch", click it.

If you don't see "Relaunch" or "Update" you're on the latest version.
5. Click Relaunch* to apply the update.
*The browser saves your opened tabs and windows and reopens them automatically when it restarts. Your Incognito windows won't reopen when Chrome restarts. If you'd prefer not to restart right away, click Not now. The next time you restart your browser, the update will be applied.
